Product Description
Legacy STB Web browsers have always been limited by a lack of Flash support. Not so with A3. The included browser and the recommended Dolphin browser support Adobe Flash 11. Watch video from NBC, ABC, FOX, Amazon Instant and thousands of other sites right in the browser like you would on your computer. A3 has several media storage and sharing features. A bay is included for installation of your 2.5″ SATA HDD. USB hard drives are also supported along with a microSD card slot. Amiko A3 easily integrates itself into your Windows home network, automatically scanning for shares across your local IP range. Perhaps the best part of Amiko A3 is that it is YOUR STB. You decide what features and Apps you want on it and what you want A3 to do. Unlike legacy STB's you are not dependent on the manufacturer or distributor for most updates. No more waiting on a Youtube fix or only being able to select from the limited content and Apps that the manufacturer decides to support. Simply go to Google Play or various XBMC repositories, pick out what you want, install updates from the same place when needed. Many Apps can even auto-update if you want them to. On the satellite end, Amiko A3 comes with a new (14 June) satellite database. Virtually every True FTA satellite and TP between 8W-139W for North and South America is included. Adding or editing satellites can be done in seconds with the RCU. Blindscan is included with 97W Ku scanning in about 2m 37s. Read more
